Pursue Your Pivot: Monday (Holiday) Motivation

Happy Monday, Good People!

It’s the last week of November, and I’m thankful I feel a little better than I did after the first raggedy week of the month. How are you feeling?

For me, last week was a time of good news from my tribe, meeting new people, being validated and encouraged by those whose opinions I care about, and seeing one of the best to do it speak in person (got to check it off my bucket list!).

That person is Fawn Weaver. If you don’t know her, look her up ASAP!

So, in celebration of sharing space with such an amazing human being, below are some words of wisdom from the disruptor herself. I love this clip for this week in particular because as we gather, let’s think about what we want our fellowshipping to look like and who we want at our table going forward.

I’m no longer interested in doing things the way they’ve been done for the sake of tradition. I’m doing things my way. That’s not just in business but in life.

What are some things you already do or plan to do differently?

This week, me and mines are doing something “unconventional” and different, and I couldn’t be more excited. Next week, I’ll share what that is and more about what Mrs. Weaver said during her talk.

Until then, freak the institution of Thanksgiving … shout out to the Indigenous People … traveling graces … cry and grieve how you need to … cuss folks out at the dinner table if they try it … and do you!

I love y’all for real!
